If the teenager is responsible, i believe so. it is quick, but not a racer, stay away from SS option, too fast for most teenagers, unless they have been through a defensive driving course.Good looking for the kid and reliable for the adults.

the suspensions are weak and not enough horsepower to get out of a jam. if you have a bit more money look into the Pontiac Vibe or Toyota Matrix. But yes, Cobalt is a good looking well performing car.
