Question:

Answers:

What sort of car would you want to own in the future?and why?

If the teenager is responsible, i believe so. it is quick, but not a racer, stay away from SS option, too fast for most teenagers, unless they have been through a defensive driving course.
Good looking for the kid and reliable for the adults.
Another option may be the ford focus or kia spectra.

Buying a used car that has a loan on it?

Scion although considered "cool", are too "plastic-y"
the suspensions are weak and not enough horsepower to get out of a jam. if you have a bit more money look into the Pontiac Vibe or Toyota Matrix. But yes, Cobalt is a good looking well performing car.

How much is a caddilac catara brand new?

they are not great. Don't buy new, buy used. Cobalts are a little embarrasing for a teenager. Also low-end chevy's are not known for their reliability. Go with an older four door car (less insurance $)

Do any know were i can find a transmission for a 95 ford windstar van?

It's your typical, nothing special compact car. If the teenager has any taste they will pass on it. But if they wreck it. No great loss.
