Cheap, Light, less than 1100cc?

Question:
I was wondering if there was such a car, like a hatch back, but about half the weight. This would mean lots of speed and a low insurance group :), like this one but a smaller engine.

late 70's model civic had a two cylender, the 1000cc suzuki swift turbo from the late 80's, same car as the chevy sprint, chevy and Geo Metro, and the old sears car withe the door on the front, if you want light, the MG, All the Fiats, the old Mini Cooper, Austin Healey bug eyed sprite, the Daihatsu if you can find one, and finaly the Triumphs. Have fun making your micro machine fast.
