Should I wait till 2008 and decided between a Nissan GT-R or BMW M3 to buy a car?

I would beware of gas mileage claims. Most auto manufacturers rate their autos in highway mileage, the higher of gas mileage figures, (except in hybrids) and combined city and highway mileage. Typically most people today drive city mileage! At best we do MPG or combined highway/city mileage. I have owned some four and six cylinder engined cars in my day and in the city you are not likely to set any records with regards to gas mileage when you have to start and stop a lot in traffic. A larger engine actually outperforms many smaller engines in traffic start stop gas mileage, although it does not impress most people especially in cold weather. I had four bangers and six bangers that barely got 10 miles per gallon in the city and eight bangers that got 15 in city mileage! That being said, you should buy what you can afford overall. Auto costs include hidden things like how easy is it to observe your driving in the vehicle, how much does it cost to insure, how safe are you and your family in a collision, how stable is the vehicle in a turn, will your coffee spill on you when you are driving, what does it cost to maintain, how reliable is it?.stuff like that. Be careful how much you base your buy decision on highway mileage or combined highway city mileage.

Could any1 tell me where i can buy a cheap used ready 2 drive black taxi cab in the manchester area please.?

depends if you have to pay more for the vehicle with the better milage and if so how much. if you put on 12,000 miles a year with gas at $2.50 a gallon you will save $62.50 a year. in 10 years that would be $625. Not much of a difference. Buy the car you like and dont worry about milage. We buy gas at $2 a gallon and $3 a gallon, that is a bigger difference than 2 miles per gallon. So if they the same price its great to get better milage, but its not a huge savings. Buy the car u like the best.
