Price seems way high. Do some research, check on-line, also check your local news paper. I bet you can find one with a good title for that much money.
If you decide to buy it, have a Master Mechanic check the car.

Car Loan with Ex-Girlfriend?

If it has a salvage title on it then it's been wrecked so bad the insurance company wrote it off as a total wreck. If the car has been repaired properly then it shud be OK but I highly recommend you take it to a reputable repair shop and have them check it out. Be sure to tell them that the car has been wrecked and you want to know if everything has been fixed right so you won't end up with serious problems down the road.
We rebuild cars like that in our shop for people who have too much money and/or just don't want to let go of that special vehicle. If it's done right the cars are OK. But, if a car has been wrecked so bad that it costs more to fix it than the car is worth (that's why it's called totaled) why bother?
