That area isn't the nicest (nor the worst) that Chicago has to offer but if your going there to buy a car from a business it would be safe.
Western ave is known to have many used car dealers, most of which cater to people that have less than stellar credit. So it is safe to say you'll probably get a loan approval no matter what type of credit you have.

Why do so many people say that buying a vehicle with a salvage title is so bad?
