This is what China expects to do in the near future with it's three automotive brands, Chery (which will manufacture compact cars for Dodge), Changfeng, and Geely.

Hyundai is a great car company. They are cheaper because they do not have the same overhead like an american car. My wife has had 2. My next car will be one. They do have a 10yr/100,000 mile warrenty. They were the first to do that. American car are now trying to catch up.If you want to go foreign go with Toyota, they are by far the best.
They have reasonable prices too, the new Yaris starts at $13,500 and is sweet. I have a celica myself and love it. In my opinion they are the most well built, reliable cars on the market, they are well worth looking into. They will last forever too.

When they originally came out back in the mid to late 80's they were God-awful and developed a bad rep. In the last few years the quality has improved greatly and they are a pretty good value. There are better cars, but if low price and economy is more important to you than anything else, you may want to consider them among others.More Questions & Answers ...
