Question:
I am looking for a scooter(s) within the range of $1200 or lower and preferablly new but i can settle for used. Is there anyone out there that would know of anyone who would have one or might know how i could find one? I need one that will max at about 70+ and is a 2 passenger.

When should you pay an out of state tax on a new or leased car.?
You may have difficulty finding a scooter that will reach 70MPH in your price range. The best bet is a late 80's early 90's Honda Helix. It has a 250cc engine and can cruise at 70. New, you would have to buy something similar to a Honda Reflex, and those start around $5000. Most scooters except 49cc mopeds have two-up riding capability. Having ridden many scooters, however, I cannot vouch for riding them at those speeds and strongly recommend a proper motorcycle. There are more available used, for that price, and in better condition. The main difference is you will have to shift, which is not very difficult. Check out the Honda Rebel, Yamaha Virago, and Kawasaki Ninja 250, all about 250cc. Even better, don't look below 500/600cc if you want a safe, reliable ride.Anyone ever sell a car on eBay? was it worth it? or a hassle?
I almost forgot to mention, the reason I say at least 250cc, nothing less can hold 70MPH without putting you and the bike at risk. It would be pushing the bike way too hard.
Is buying a vehicle on ebay safe or a good idea?
"I need one that will max at about 70+" . . you will need a 250cc or larger. Check your regional Craigslist > for sale > motorcycles.resource information

I have £10,000 to spend. what estate car do you recommend?
If 55-60 mph (one person, level terrain) is acceptable, consider a 2005 Diamo Retro 150cc . . $999 (plus shipping) clearance
