I agree with the fact that any man that judges a woman's weight gain from pregnancy should go through labor himself, but i also see it a different way. right after the baby is born the couple is probably going to be busy and struggle a bit, but eventually i think the woman should start working out and get back to if not as close as she can to her previous size, 1. because it's healthier for her (especially if she wants to have another child) and 2. because i think that couples should do the best they can to keep themselves "presentable" for their partner. this way everyone feels good about themselves. a man should understand what a woman goes through during pregnancy and shouldn't expect her to drop the baby weight in a day, but also the woman shouldn't use her pregnancy as an excuse for becoming unfit and unhealthy.
