I know the Hyundai trajet is cheaper than the "grandis". But the Grandis looks more luxury than trajet. It is very hard to choose. does someone have some experience on these family car? thanks

there are subsequent SUV's and the like, but if your after a people mover, get the Odyssey...apart from the stingy lap-belt in the middle row, its a great car.u will have to buy the base-model for 7-seats, but u can always add alloys ect.

Hyundais are crap cuz there made in korea by retards. Mitsubishis are good.But try a Honda Odysey there the same size car but more reliable efficient powerfull and there just heaps better.
I bought a 2005 trajet last year, with 11000km. It meets out expectation, and still cheaper than a 2003 tarago. I'm happy so far.
My wife loves the seating arrangement, allowing her an easy access to any seats. No hassle with middle row seat, not sure why only kia and hyundai offer this kind of setup.

I wouldn't buy a new trajet as you can get a lot better odyssey, grandis, or a new carnival for an extra few thousand dollars. A near new one will save you lots of dollars, and you can keep it until the remaining warranty ends.

Trajet engine is powerful enough to carry 5 of us, lots of luggage and stuff on monthly shopping trip. Overtaking roadtrains on the highway has never been an issue. You need to drive it with respect as any other people movers, they are not sport cars.
