I am separated from my spouse and am basically starting over from scratch. I have a steady job and all that, but my credit is damaged because of the split. I went to a couple places recently, but it is ironic to have to pay $300-plus per month for a Chevy Cavalier when you are rebuilding your credit! Can anyone help out with suggestions? What to do? What not to do? I do NOT have a thousand dollars lying around for a down payment.
