Need some input on purchasing a new car?

Question:
So I am looking to purchase a 2007 Honda Civic EX fully loaded. I did quite a bit of research and went shopping yesterday and today hoping to make the purchase with a good deal. However, I feel like I am being robbed. Can any men out there please give me some input on what I can do so that the saleman does not take advantage of me being a woman shopping alone.
The invoice price according to the salesman today was 18,500. He refused to go below that. I started my price at $16k and he told me that was not possible. After a little more explanation from him I said 17k and to go ask his manager. The manager came over and said that it was not possible and no Honda dealership will sell me that car for that low of a price. I explained t him that I have shopped with others before and I am fully aware that he has the capacity to go down further. He said that he can not. So, I left.

In order to bargain effectively you need ammo. Like what you ask? Quotes from alot of other dealers; the dealers cost of the car with all options (See NADA link) and make sure there are no promotions, discount or rebates you don't know about. Check Hondas website. What I did is do all of my shopping using the internet. Get a list of dealers in a 100 miles radius and e-mail them all with the specifics on the car you want to purchase. They realize you are just shopping by price and they don't have you as a captive audience like when you waste your time sitting at the dealer! Whittle down the e-mail replies you get from the dealers and I promise you one of them will deal and you will save $$. Don't ever believe a salesman or a sales manager until you have done all your research and are "fully armed" for battle! Try and have fun, realize it is just a big game, and you will come out the winner!

What state in the United state should I go to, to buy a luxury car (Rangrover or a Benz)at a cheap price?

Honda Civics are very popular, so they will not lower the price much. The lowest possible price is the invoice price, at $18,500.

VCool sun film shops in bangalore?

For a fully equipped '07 Civic EX, 18,500 sounds reasonable.

Car or four wheeler?

Edit: The invoice on it is 18,500 so they're only charging $500 above retail. That's a great deal.

Where is the best place to buy a 2003 cadillac?

I have sold cars in the past. Branded auto dealerships make little or no money on new cars, unbelievable but true. They make their money on used cars, they buy them low at acuction and sell them high. So the new car margins are very low and not very forgiving. See the sticker on the window. Pick the price from there.
