They cannot change anything on a signed contract. Even Buy Here Pay Here lots have guidelines that you both agree to. If you do change something then you would have to initial the change and the entire contract would need rewritten to include the change. Things such as rates, length of loan, down payments, and total of repayment are all crutial to both parties knowledge of the transaction. They can "Dehorse" you and make you think you've bought a car pending financing and NOT be able to get you financed. Then Yea they can probably find an out in the deal. Never thought that was fair but the car business is tough. Seems like the manufactures wants have gone from family owned bus. to conglomarations of profit mongrels.
