Question:
I drive a 2005 model while my husband drives a truck that is over 10 years old. He is finally getting the itch of getting something newer but is worried about payments. Now I have an idea but don't really know if its possible and practical. For my 2005, we pay $420 a month. If I were to trade in the 05 for say an 03, the payments could go down by half. Would we then be able to get my husband an 03 model and get a $200 payment, having 2 payments equal to what we pay for one car now? Is this just a nice thought but not going to happen in reality, or is it possible?
Answers:
If you go look for your husband a vehicle and it is going to cost 250$ a month, put that on your car for a year if you never miss that 250$ then I say go for it!!
Good Luck
I dont know what to tell you to do, except for DO NOT trade in your car if you owe more than the trade in value.
Where do I find used cars from private partys on the internet in California?
Hard to say because it depends on what you buy. Maybe you can refinance your 05 to lower the payments then look for an 03 for your husband.this can actually be done is called combining the payments in to one,but you sort of have to do this at the same time,or you,ll have to re-finance the loan once he finds his ,if you do both at the same time, and set it up at the bank it can be done, one payment 2 vehicles, really simple,i think you could get them both for less than 500 a month also, you need to call your local bank and talk to the finance manager about this,,good luck i hope this help.s.
what is the name of the big car dealership in Idaho?
It probably would not work unless you have a lot of equity in your current car, but doesn't make sense to trade down into an older car that will depreciate more, and end up costing more in maintenance costs. To get two cars for the current payment you have now, you would have to look at cars older than 03's, or higher mileage cars, in order to get payments of $210 monthly each, and I believe you'd find it wouldn't be possible.
What is the best car for a beginner to learn in?
Again, I agree witht he other respondants,, can't really say unless the model is determined.. I do have a suggestion however.. It is worth the hassle to sell you rvehicle privately rather than trade it in.. you will get much more for it that way. Also. perhaps consicer an older more realiable used car than is also fuel efficent. A toyota, honda, and mazdas are all good choices. Maybe you husband can get by with a smaller truck and use a trailer when neccessary. The fuel savings alone will be worth it. good luck and there is lots of information on good realiable vehicles onlineMore Questions & Answers ...
