Question:
I only bought the car 3 weeks ago and haven't received the registration document from the D.V.L.A yet. As the new buyer usually has to fill in his/her details what do i do?
Answers:
Can u tell me a couple of websites that sell used cars, trucks and vans.?
Get an hpi check done and give the buyer a receipt. You are going to get the question thousg as to why your selling so quick. They will probably think like I would that the cars a bucket.
you cant sell the car without the documebt call the dvla asking for prompt reponse as you wish to sell it they are usually very helpful and obliging
What do you think of people who treat u differently based on what car you drive?
you definitely cannot sell it without your V5 logbook, which the DVLA introduced to stop fraud. you will have to call the DVLA to make sure they send it to you immediately, and take a deposit from the new buyer in the meantime if you can! It's ilegal to sell a car without the registration document however some people do and then send it on to the new owner to save time, even people in the trade do. You should be getting the document soon though and i wouldn't take that risk.
If a dealership never sells a new car is it declared new forever until its sold?
I would check with DVLA, they are only taking about one week at the moment. Would be OK as long as you have the small green part of the old V5. (new keeper supplement should of been given to you when you bought it)Can I do a trade in with a leasted car?
apply for a log book.it takes time because the dvla ask previous owner if they object to new ownershipMore Questions & Answers ...
