PLUS, Fusion and Milan made Consumer Reports MOST RELIABLE top 5! CAMRY DID NOT. And only the Honda Accord 4 cylinder made it of the big guys. Other places to look for this car's incredible results are Car & Driver and Detroit Auto News. All document the Milan/Fusion's dominance in this market.
These stats show the quality of these vehicles. Do NOT fall victim to everyone's "PERCEIVED" idea of imports always beating the domestics. Imports make some great products, and they make some marginal and poor products as well. So does Ford, Honda and every other manufacturer. Except Chrysler which did not have ONE SINGLE vehicle on Consumer Reports most reliable list. Although the Chrysler 300 did win LEAST RELIABLE.
Sorry, I kind of got off the subject of your question. YES, it's a great time to buy. Ford is serious about reclaiming their lost market share in 2007. They're doing so by offering VERY aggressive incentives right from the gates. Just look at the F-150 leases right now! I get free demos and I'm even tempted to lease a crew cab F150 for the stupid payments they're offering right now!
GO FOR IT! GREAT TIME TO BUY! I've not seen incentives this big so early in the year! You'll be able to get a great deal AND get the car you want. Since many times when the incentives grow this large, the selection is slim. So you have to settle for a car that might not be the ideal one you had in mind.
