The HF integrale started out with 185bhp, two years later it got a boost to 200bhp, then the Evo models got hiked to 215.

Be aware that there are three very big factors with these cars:
Firstly, they're all LHD. If you find a right hooker it's been madified, and that'll knock the value as it's no longer an original car.
Secondly, they demand love. If you're not handy with a spanner, then be prepared for plenty of garage bills.
Thirdly, rust. The later models aren't so bad, but the early grale's are at a price that people often leave them outside, and the bodywork is less than great at rust prevention. Take the time to find one thats been garaged and demand nothing less than a comprehensive history. Remember, you break these and it costs big time.

I wouldn't buy one if this is your main day to day car. If it's a bit of a toy then go for it. Since it's still one of the definitive icons. Insurance is going to be a crippler mind.
If you have to use the car day to day, I'd strongly suggest you look at one of the other 4wd rally reps. Obviously there's the Imprezza and Evo, but they lack the soul of the grale.

Thought about an Escort Cosworth? More reliable than the grale, similar price, spec and performance, and if you find the small turbo model rather than the big turbo homologation model, you'll find out exactly why they're so special. Like the Integrale, their prices are rock solid now, and will be forever, unlike scoobies and evo's.

As some guy said earlier, expect bills with these. Don't go thinking it's a practical everyday car just because it's got five doors and a boot.
Those cars rock, but you must beware that they dont exactly have a reputation for build quality and reliability, so be careful.

If you must get a car, go for something a bit better than the usual crap that everyone else has. Why not put the 10k down as a deposit on an Lotus Exige (sorry spelling) and pay the rest off on finance?

hmmm for 10k u could buy something well nice and fast such as civic type R or the mk1 forus RS them are nice cars and fast but u'd need to check insurance on the cars and see if u can afford it, personally dont like the intergrale but if thats the kinda car u like go for it. u could go for a honda CRX vtec them cool, fast, and are honda so are really well built.What is the best way to sell a car?
Do you really want old old left hand drive car. They are very fast and look great.. but mayb modernise with a scooby wrx 04 plate.Personally I'd go for the integrale but couldnt afford it.
