Should i buy this 1985 BMW 318i?

its in good condition and everything works. it does need a new fuel pump but other than that its a great car. 1.8 liter 4-cyl engine paired to a 5-speed manual trans. has great body and chrome rims. i want to give it an engine swap to a 2.3 M-Powered motor just for speed.

Your talking about swapping the engine so you must be mechanically inclined. Good thing cuz it will need some work even if everything works now. I wouldn't pay more than 3k for it. Great looking car though.

I personally would not. Mainly because if it breaks again parts are hard to find and when you do find them the are very expensive just because it is for a BMW. Same goes for Mercedes.
