go down to the motor vehicle department with your vehicle's registration and your driver's license and apply for a duplicate title. i am assuming that you are the only one on the title...if you aren't and it is an 'and' title you will need the other party to be present for the duplicate title.

you will have to go to your local DMV and get another title. I had to do this in my state it takes 10 days by mail and $30 for a replacement.

you may have to get a duplicate of the original one they can do this in one day at most of the places ,at least they do here in Tennessee and you leave with it ,i been in the same place before ,but you can get it replaced its no big deal it just takes a little while to get this straitened out,good luck i hope this help,s.
