Question:
My wife is looking to buy a Yaris today at a dealership but shes only putting a little over a grand for a down payment. I want to avoid looking desperate and I want come in there with a " You either take what I got or nothing at all" attitude. I want to be able to bring down the interest rate as low as I can....... Well you guys catch my drift....... Any ideas!? Thanks ahead of time.
Answers:
However it sounds like you have a good game plan with the down payment and it is a must to have a low intrest rate.
If I were you I would check with a local bank and get an idea of there intrest rates. Then go to the dealer let him run your credit and see what rate he gives you. If your bank is better or even close go with the bank. This will look like you are walking in with your own cash. Lets say the car is 20,000 on the sticker before tax and title, you go to the dealer and say hey man I relly want this car I have cash and I can only spend 17,500 out the door!
Basicly it always helps if you have cash.
How does part ex-ing your car work with exisiting finance?
The other thing I would do is find another car you like as well as this one. That way you can be upfront and say I like your car but I am also going to look at the Honda. This will automaticly put pressure on him and he will do all he can to keep you from going to Honda.
Good luck....
You have to act hesitant to accept any offers. Mention that a dealer down the street has a Yaris. If they still won't give in, start walking out of the dealership looking really disappointed, and say "it's too bad" or "I came here ready to buy", and act like you're going to the other dealership.
And try to keep nuetral, if you see a Yaris that you really like, look at it and move on.
What would my low-milage, single owner '87 Buick T-Type (GN) be valued at these days (retail price)?
Do your homework. Know what the vehicle is selling for at other places.Best car for a learner driver?
Next, don't be emotionally attached to the purchase. Dealers know you WANT it versus NEED it. You'll always pay more for want.
Last, be prepared to NOT buy it today. If you can avoid being pressured into buying it you'll get a better deal. Anyone who trys to tell you today is the only day an offer is good is lying and you don't want to do business with them anyway.
should I buy the 2006 Kia Sadona for $17,500 (new) or the 2007 Honda Odyssy for $22,500??
If all else fails, try Carmax. Price is set. Good quality on preowned vehicles.
Does someone know anything about a car dealership and canceling a contract?
Good luck.
1st. Go to another dealer ship of the same brand of car,and get a brochure, get the salesmen to give you a quote. (Make sure you get a name of the salesmen)
where can I find out about governance in european law for home biodiesel production ?
2nd. Go to the one dealership you want to purchase the car at. Talk to the salesmen there and mention the name of the other salesmen from dealership #1 and throw a number $2000 less than the 1st salesman gave to you at the salesmen too. (Most likely the 2 dealers wont have any communication with eachother so that means you can mind **** him like a jedi)
Please could anyone tell me how to go on-line to sell a set of 20" rims?
Do not tell them how much or what your dwnpmt will b. Make them give u the best price & If you belong to a credit union u can get a better intrest rate, they will try and match that, so tell a little fib and check the rates of a few online.
