Question:
Someone mentioned a program called Polk that checks the VIN#'s on all kinds of vehicles.
I'm trying to find out if someone were to go to a junkyard and get a VIN# on a car, would they get caught? Would it be traced back that the car is in the junkyard?
can you find me a buisness that i can buy that's from 1,000-6,000 dollars?
Anyone know about the state of Connecticut?

Where can i find a cheap used Beetle volkswagen, 1998-2001?
say you get in an accident....what do you think will happen will happen when the car you are driving doesn't match your insurance. plus if you give them that vin you will have to describe that car from the junkyard your vin gives away traits of the car it goes to.If you were buying a used car and were gonna spend £20k, would you buy from a dealer or privately?
you need more than the VIN number. you need year, model, make, color, 2dr/4dr, etc. you might run into a problem if the insurance company runs title checks. if they do, they will see that the vehicle has a salvage title because it is in a junk yard. i am not sure if insurance companies do that. maybe it can be your next question!Have you ever sold a car that you regreted selling?
otherwise, i don't see any other issues.
