i have a toyota yarisis is very reliable - i've had it from new -it's a T reg
is is very economical to run and you get cheaper road tax as well
I used to have a Peugeot 106 and it was lovely, never had any problems, was really cheap on insurance and a nice comfy ride. However it depends on whether you want to go brand new. Volkswagen have just bought out the Fox, it's about £6.5K, low insurance and a kooky little car, looks like a cross between a Polo and a Golf. It'd give your teenager some street cred to have a VW as well.
a 1 litre Corsa
We might be buying a ford focus lx automatic 02, what do you think?
A Sherman tank may keep them safe. But a Volvo is a well built car, and easy to drive. But the big question is what does the teenager want.Where can i sell my car at right away?
I've got a Daihatsu Cuore - pretty reliable, cheap to run, tax and insure. Only gripe is that it's got quite a small boot.A Fiat Uno. Small, easy to handle, cheap to tax and VERY economical on fuel. Also dead cheap to fix if they have mechanical probs.
Small car, small engine size, old, but in good working and perhaps a bit "tired" looking, so if they drive it into your gate post* it doesn't cost too much to fix it.

What happens if you purchase a car and your check bounces?
try and find a vauxhall vorsa 1.3 diesel they do 70 to the gallon and the road tax is only £60.50 per 6 months or £110.00 per year.my partner has one cos he has to travel 250 miles per week to work and he gets 700 miles to a tank full of diesel about £37.00 to £40.00 depending on the price of diesel.they are one of the most reliable cars on the market .
Should i buy this car? even i cant test drive, can't see it, only pix, can i believe that person?
Hondas are great cars. You can get a good deal on a used one, and they run forever as long as you keep up maintenance. As long as it is a four door the insurance will remain cheap. Also if you ever decide to sell the car, Hondas have the highest resale value. I got a 91 accord in 96, has 280k miles, and still runs like a champ. Plus most are 4 cylinders so the gas will be cheap.Where can I get a set of 17inch tires for cheap? Under $800.00?
hi my first car was a fiesta it was cheap to run and also good on the tax, but my cousin has recently passed his test he is 17 and he had such trouble finding insurance for most small cars nothing much was coming in less than £1500 for third party fire n theft, so good luck and i hope you find something.a v.w polo cheap to run 1ltr engine so small tax and insurance so reliable will go forever and great resale there are always people lookin to pick up one good luck
Buying a new car, detials!! i need them?
i dont think you should give your son his own car yet. let him be on the wheels with your car or somthing so he can be better at drving so. and then when you think he does a terrific job THEN you give him his own carI want to put my car for sale... how do I do that?
If you're rich, a Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari F430, or a BMW or Mercedes is the way to go. But I'd suggest a Scion tC or xA. Reliable, fuel efficient, good crash test ratings, all under $16,500, comfotable, iPod plug in, and they're easy to customize. You can buy the already with 18" chrome rims, sweet shift knobs, underglow near the pedals on drivers' and passengers' side, and alot of room.Looking to buy a car - is this a good deal?

well as a starter .. u want to look at small engine sizes like 1ltr or 1.2 ltr. this car lower ur insurance..people go for the ford fiesta, vauxhall corsa, nissan micra.. all these car gud cars for lower insurance.
i wud prefer a honda civic or a toyota corolla ---- (3drs)
somthing like a fiesta, for a while til use 2 the roads,
It will need to be small and not very powerful. Just you wait until you get a quote for insurance.
Some insuarnce companies won't offer cover on certain cars.
I am doing the same thing, I just realise there are a lot of cars out there that fit into the first driver brackets, other than the small cars, you can get a Mercedes A Class, Golf Diesel, Bora, Passat 1.6, Subaru Forester and BMW 316i. And there is a performance choice - a 1.8 XS 306. It really depends on your need, if you want a easy car to drive - then a Clio, a car with Kudos then BMW, carry things then forester or Passat. Furthermore the insurance for these cars are about 1100 to 1500 pounds (me 19 years old, on my own policy no NCB)
What car advice can you give - first time buyer?
Ka with ohv engine. Any grease monkey (like me) can fix it.ford fiesta, cheap to run,and fun to drive.
