Vauxhalls are crap mate.Get a Jap car....they are super-reliable. The Honda will be the sportier of the lot, and is a great car, but the Toyota would be the most reliable, but lacking in character.

Think about what you need it for, if you just want a good old work horse that will last for years and be economical, get the Toyota.

I think you should buy a 5 year old Honda Civic because it has more strenght than an Astra.If you go with Toyota, you have the fuel saving thing going on and the engine is very reliable. With civic, plus the fuel saving, you have the style, class and reliability and long lasting engine and the somewhat confit interior. Astra is just Astra. Get you from one place to the other and to be honest with you, don't know much about them. Anyhow, good luck on your selection.

buy the Astra as foreign cars cost more to insure and cost more for parts. i don't have a Astra but am thinking of buying one as i like the shape of the new one's as i have just finished paying for my corsa but it is a little bit small for me now as i have just had a new addition to the familyI'd rather have an 8 year old well-maintained Corolla or Civic then a 3 year old Astra.
