My friends parents have an 02' Sonata. Have had lost of little things go bad under warranty (clearcoat peeling off rims, brakes, battery) it was enough for him to wish they got an Accord instead. Yes Hyundais offer a lot for the money, but you get what you pay for. They cut corners with their suppliers, like many other automakers are doing these days.

The company put in a new transmission completly free of charge. I'm not familar with the particular model you mentioned, but its a Hyundai. Thats all I would need to know.
