I'm looking at buying either a Focus ST with the 2.3L (150hp) and performance suspension or the Saturn Ion with the performance pachage 2.4L (175hp), performance suspension etc... They are within 1/2 second of each other in 0-60 time. Which would you pick and why?

I had a Focus and and no problems with it. It was a very good and reliable car. Although the Saturn does come with a great warranty.Does buying a car from ebay.com really works??
Obviously you are looking for speed and performance not reliability and economic sense.

Buy a pos and race it into the ground. When you have that out of your system, buy a Honda Civic.i love my focus but let me tell you after market for the duratec sucks right now i dont know a thing about the ion but judging by the numbers you put up i think i would go for the ion the focus is great but i dont think the upgrades from a normal focus are worth the price
