A "ram air" induction will not help the miatas performance untill it gets above 110 miles per hour. Wind tunnel test have shown that unless you are running a high volume supercharger, a ram air induction will actually cause your performance to drop. We developed a carbon fibre intake snorkle for the miata for the SCCA spec miata class race cars which improves the cool air intake and volume up to 165 mph, and is legal for street use.
