Dodge man has some really good points. Even I am feeling the crunch of classic cars. It's what I do. Sure I still have clients coming to me wanting me to find them something or needing stuff done. but for the most part I feel that unless an alternitive is found these cars will die off as time passes. I have a few classics that I love to drive but I hate filling them up. I get about 200 miles out of them and then they need gas again. The higher performance ones go though the gas even faster. If the car is in good shape and looks nice and you really want to increase her value, see what you can do about getting it in to some movies. they often pay a good price to sometimes just let it sit on the lot. I have had a number of my cars used in movies and I am often paid 150 to 200 bucks a day to just have the car sit there. Get the information documented and then when your ready to sell her she has more value because shes a star. something to think about.

If you take care of it and keep it in top notch shape like they do their cars at the classic car shows, the value should increase every year.

i own a repair shop,and right now no one knows for sure whats going to happen to them,one thing for sure is if gas goes real high again the value will drop a lot,if it stays high,the bottom will fall out of the value of these old antiques,people are tired of paying high dollar for gas to run these things on,but its a gamble either way ,good luck i hope this helps.
