Im not to too sure if i should buy a proton are they good and reliable cars. please advise. thanks?
generally I prefer to receive a car in "factory" condition. Which means I want the factory wheels, lights, exhaust, intake, and so on. Because I am a new/used car dealer, I can certify the cars, and they can not have been altered or it would void the warranty. CARMAX is a little different, because they are strictly a used car dealer. The have a market for cars that hav aftermarket items installed. However some of the other responses are correct. The items you installed WILL NOT increase the value of your car as a trade. They may even tell you they have to replace them and therefore deduct from the value. When you have a modified car, you WILL get the most money if you sell it yourself.Where can I buy a cover for the center armrest on a 2001 Camry in gray or another dark color?
They will, but you get no extra money. So whatever you put into it you lost out.You fail to say what aftermarket parts they are, but as long as the aftermarket parts do not cause the vehicle to fail smog, or necessarily cause a safety hazard, or void any remaining warranties you should have no problem selling your vehicle to any dealer.
right to a deposit left for a new vehicle?
Yeah you need to state what all you have but it is doubtful that they will accept it if it impairs the inspection/safety process. Most dealers will accept trade-ins even if they have aftermarket parts. They will of course tell you that the value of them is nothing.
