Question:
I am in the process of purchaceing a used vehicle.
I took a look at the vehicle and took it for a test drive, and it drives fine. It does not pull to any side, no jerking, NOTHING! and it passes smog etc. etc.
Before signing any papers i requested a CarFax, and it results that the vehicle (2001 mits. galant 4D Sedan) was in an accident. The history report tells me that there was a frame inspection performed and Frame damage was reported. There was/is damage to the right front and right rear of the car.
The car looks like new but that frame damage is bothering me, The chasis might be fixed... but does this pose any future headache? any advice on what to do?

If you bought a chair where you knew two legs were damaged but now glue together and declared fit, how safe would you really feel sitting on it, never mind going down the hwy at 70 miles an hour.

What do you think about the 1996 audi A4?
you might have unusual tire wear on all or some of the tires..pass this car up and look for another...It's probably a salvaged vehicle. If you live in Michigan, the salvage title is orange, whereas a clear title is green. If it is salvage, it's probably only worth about 50-70% of a clear title vehicle. Make sure you're not paying full price.

Can I buy a car and turn around & sell it with out paying taxes in NY?
not with a 10 ft pole the frame has been weakened it could be fine then in a hard turn or whatever go all to he-- would not buy itFord F-150 FX4 or Toyota Tundra?
If you need a reliable car, I would not recommend a car with frame damage. To damage a frame, the car would have had to have been slammed hard. You may develop other problems from the accident that you cannot forsee. Oftetimes, a car that has frame damage may have a salvage title... meaning it was junked and probably fixed. Once salvaged always salvage. You can buy salvage cars from the junk yard.Who thinks Saab 9-3 Sports sedan is worth buying?

It sure does have problems, you don't want this car. It has a bent frame, that is going to make your car travel down the road dog legged. That means the front and rear tires will not be in alignment with each other. Tires will wear quickly, safe, fast braking will be dangerous. If on icy roads, you will not travel straight, therefore you will have limited control. Gears in the differential could have problems as well. Don't buy problems. shop around some more.Pre-delivery check evans halshaw. what does this include / involve?
You have to wreck a car really hard to bend or twist the frame. This means that the car has not just been in a "fender bender" but in a major collision. You should never buy a car with frame damage, never. It is not worth the time and money to fix and makes the car unstable.
