Question:
Hey boys...so right now I am pretty much done paying off my car. And next year I plan on purchasing a new vechicle, that way I have time to save up a decent down payment, to make my monthly payments lower. Anyways here are some SUV's I have been thinking about, but I need to know if the overrall ratings of them are good, gas mileage etc.
1-GMC Denali
2-Chevy Tahoe
3-Chrysler Pacifica
4-Nissan Murano
*********************
Cars:
1-Chrysler 300
2-Scion
3-Infiniti
4-Acura TL
~And some other ones I can't name off the top of my head right now :)
.Thank you.....

What sort of car would you want to own in the future?and why?
if your going for fuel efficiency you prolly don't want a tahoe, though they have gotten better. I think I heard like 20 mpg average. The Denali is not an actual vehicle. it is a line of vehicles from GMC. My favorite is the GMC Envoy Denali. They are just sooo sweet and mpg will be about 20 also. but yah very very nice. The pacificas are nice also, and will get a bit better gas mileage but, i think, look too much like a soccer moms vehicle. The Nissan Muranos are also really sweet but I have never driven one of them so I can't give an educated opinion. but they look really nice. But i have a suggestion. Check out the Chevy Trailblazer BUT get the SS line. They are not like a regular Trailblazer and are soooooo awesome. they drive awesome and look awesome. Will gap insurance pay my loan if my car falls under the lemon law?
As for the cars. I was told that the chrysler isn't really that special except for how it looks on the outside. the scion tc is really sweet and looks great inside and out and gets good gas mileage. I have never driven one just driven in one. Infiniti's are all great cars but i don't know which one you want and they are all from 30-50k and if your getting an infiniti i would get the SUV FX. The Acura TL is really nice also. i love their look, and their 286 hp. it can goo! and the interior is pretty sweet.
as recap if i was getting an SUV i would choose the Infiniti FX or the Chevy Trailblazer SS
and if i was getting a car i would choose the Acura TL or the Infiniti G Sedan.
stay away from the GM products. i dont know anything about the pacifica but i guess no news is good news. i say buy a toyota! you wont be dissapointed.
Silly girl, I didn't see a Ford product on the list. Take a look at some of the new models they are coming out with. You may find something you like.
What was the best car you ever owned?
Nothing on your list excites me! 35 years as a mechanic! Personally, my choice would be a Toyota or Suzuki- hands down! Why did you ask just the guys for help?!?! Meanie...
Keep what ya got till it dies and save your money!
What do you think of a G35 coupe and the BMW 330Ci?
i would have to agree with Fordman, but i am new to this and i am not sure how you ask questions... i have a question for Fordman, i just bought a 96 Explorer and i am in need of some tips on keeping it in good conditionThe GMC Denali and Chevy Tahoe are basically the same. They come out of the same factory, even. I love the way the Pacifica drives and handles, but wonder about the long-term service life of a Chrysler. If the Murano follows the Nissan pattern, it will be durable, dependable and you already know it looks great. I would bet the import won't break very often, but it'll be expensive to fix if it ever does.
I need a new van urgently, which van (connect, combo astra size) is the most reliable?
The Acura and Scion are Toyotas and likely top-quality vehicles. The Infiniti is a Nissan, again an import brand. I cannot imagiine the Chrysler will be up to the quality levels of the others you mentioned. But these are hardly direct competitors. The Scion is either a micro van or a small car; the Infiniti is a car, as is the Acura. I perceive the 300 to be a not-so-small car. If resale value means anything to you, you'll go with an import brand, whether it's a car or SUV.
Anyone with carfax account help?
Here's the best I can do with these models (gas mileage numbers are city first, highway second):Find the sale price if the $50 price is discounted 30%?
GMC Denali - Not sure which one you're talking about since there are four of them, so here's the basics on each one.
What is the best allround vehicle for city travell and rare highway trips?
- GMC Envoy Denali - Not reliable (one of Consumer Report's worst rating), gas mileage is 15-21 miles per gallon. Interior and ride are supposed to be nice, but handling is somewhat clumsy and it's not very good off-road. Comes as a 4-Door Midsize SUV with a V-8 engine.
Where can I sell my BMW X5 for cash in NJ and what should I expect to get for it ?
- GMC Sierra Denali - Reliability unknown (it was redesigned this year), gas mileage is 13-19 miles per gallon. Interior is supposed to be great, and engine is extremely powerful. Comes as a 4-Door Fullsize Truck with a V-8 engine.
- GMC Yukon Denali - Reliability is okay, but not stellar. Gas mileage is 13-19 miles per gallon. Interior is as nice as a Cadillac's. Comes as a 4-Door Fullsize SUV with a V-8 engine.
Do You Know Of Any Good Used Car Websites?
- GMC Yukon XL Denali - Same as standard Yukon Denali, but with a longer wheelbase and body, more interior room, and a higher price and higher weight. Expect less secure handling and less performance than standard Yukon Denali. Gas mileage is 14-18 miles per gallon.
Seling a recently bought pre owned car?
Chevrolet Tahoe - Essentially a toned-down version of the GMC Yukon Denali, with different styling and a less luxurious interior. On the other hand, it's much cheaper. Gas mileage is 13-19 miles per gallon. Reliability is so-so. Interior is nice, but not class-leading.
Car Salespeople! What is your secret?
Chrysler Pacifica - This is basically a tall station wagon, with a roomy, comfortable interior and no off-road ability. Gas mileage is 16-24 miles per gallon. Reliability is okay.
Whcih lexus or acura should i get?
Nissan Murano - This is like the Pacifica, but shorter, and has only two rows of seats. Gas mileage is 20-24 miles per gallon. Reliability has been good.
Chrysler 300 - This is a good all-around car. The style is it's best spot. Performance with the 6-Cylinder is adequate, but the 8-Cylinder is much faster and more befitting of a car like this. Interior is roomy, but the tiny windows can make it feel confining. Gas mileage is 19-27 for the 2-Wheel Drive 6-Cylinder, 17-24 for the All-Wheel Drive 6-Cylinder, 17-25 for the 2-Wheel Drive 8-Cylinder, and 17-24 for the All-Wheel Drive 8-Cylinder. Reliability has been okay.
Can any one plz help need cool car stuff?
Scion - Again, not sure which one since there are three of them.
Where can I find a dirt Cheap Car?
- Scion TC - Compact sport coupe with good power and cheap price. Gas mileage is 23-30 miles per gallon and reliability is excellent.
Where are good places to look for a land rover?
- Scion XA - Compact 4-Door hatchback. Cheap, and offers customization straight from the dealership. Gas mileage is 32-37 miles per gallon and reliability is good.
- Scion XB - Compact 4-Door microwagon. Boxy styling, excellent interior room. Gas mileage is 30-33 miles per gallon and reliability is excellent.
In the following which car is best to buy?verna(diesel),accent, esteem?
Infiniti - Once again, you failed to specify a model. Since you listed it under "cars" I'll just inlcude the car models.
- Infiniti G35 - Sporty midsize sedan and coupe based off of Japanese-market Nissan Skyline (not Skyline GT-R, which is completely different). Good performance, okay price. Gas mileage is 19-26 miles per gallon and reliability is excellent.
- Infiniti M-Series - Sporty fullsize sedan. Good power and handling. Luxurious interior. Gas mileage is 18-25 miles per gallon for the 6-Cylinder (M35) and 17-23 miles per gallon for the 8-Cylinder (M45). Reliability has been excellent.
Should i buy this car? even i cant test drive, can't see it, only pix, can i believe that person?
Acura TL - Semi-luxurious midsize sedan based off of the Honda Accord. Adequate power and performance, but nothing more. Front-Wheel Drive only. Not quite up to par with other luxury sedans. Gas mileage is 20-29 miles per gallon and reliability has been excellent.
I hope this has answered your question. If you have any more, please feel free to ask.
What kind of car should I get my son?
I have an '06 Scion tC and get 25 city/30 highway with an auto, and drive with a major lead foot! The tC has a lot of power for a 4 cyl, but is not powerful after 3rd gear. But I love my tC, and love customizing it. I would always recommend Toyota to anyone because of reliability, quality, and gas mileage. I used to own a Mustang and only thought American muscle was the way, but now I have been forever changed.Does any one have a source too unlimited carfax's?
I also have an '04 Ford F150, and it is awesome. Very roomy inside and powerful. I love driving my truck, but like driving a sporty car more. Also American trucks have really bad resale values. If I could choose one of the four, I would vote the Tahoe, because it is the best looking and has the best performance.
Can you buy a car and return it in 24 hours and get my old car and money down?
