Buy a car sight unseen from a dealer?

Question:
I was at the Ford dealer looking at new Fusions. I drove one I really liked, but it had some equipment I didn't like. The dealer said he could get one for me that was identical minus the extra equipment I didn't want.

Looking for a 2007 car or truck or van?

Should I have agreed and bought the car then? The dealer said it would cost a couple of hundred to get it there, so they weren't willing to bring it unless I bought.

I did end up signing. Was that a stupid mistake?

What is the maximum suggested amount of car mileage to buy in a used car?

What would have happened if the car came and was not what I wanted? Could I still back out after signing the papers the previous day? This would be in California.

Anyone have good tips on how to find a really good car for cheap?

This is a common occurrence I've have purchased my last 2 vehicle "site unseen" and with 10 years in the car business I can tell you I never gave it a second thought. However, when you pick up the car you should inspect it very carefully and regardless of what the dealer might say you do have the right to refuse the car if it is not delivered as promised.

My boyufriend wants to buy a motocycle should i let him?

Well they should of been able to have the other dealer send pictures.

Does anyone know before i buy?

Don't buy a pig in a poke is the old saying. You still have the right of rescission if the car has not been paid for yet.

What would a salvage title do to the value of 2005 Toyota Prius?

To be honest , never sign anything if you have not seen it. Test drove it and checked it out. As I am not sure on legal ways aboutthis, you may have to contact lawyer for free advice . You may call the sales man who did this and say truth ,what if I do not like what then ? Then go from there.

What car should I buy and what insurance should I get to pay AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE?

The dealer should have been able to provide a copy of the window sticker from the car that you wanted, so you could see what equipment is included in it. Somw states have a cooling off period after purchasing a car, which allows the buyer to back out of a deal if they got into something they didn't want, like buying a car without being able to see it first. I'm not sure if CA has a provision like this. If you had any doubts about your rights, the best thing would be to check with the CA Attorney General's office, or visit their website to see what they have posted for consumer rights in car purchases. You may be able to find more resources to help answer any questions through their website.
