I bought a used car from a Taxi service, after 10minutes of buying the car it died on me (fuel pump) the mechanic said he would fix the issue but has failed to and keeps giving me excuse after excuse about completing the repairs. I would like to take legal action , I know that a seller can not falsely state that the car is in running condition when it is obviously not, I bought the car nearly 10 days and i do not have a running car or my money I would like to sue for either the car back in running condotion or my money back I have proof of sale and I know that I could sue and have the contract reversed or nulled . what steps should I take at this point to make the mechanic take me more serious and know that he can not pull the shady mechanic routine on me, what steps do I need to take what type of lawyer do I need? I have heard that a call from a lawyer canreally get a mechanic to take notice or a call to the state attorney, thanks you guys
