I am buying a new car from a dealer and the car has 167 Km on it, is that normal?

Question:
if this car was a "test drive car", should it still be sold for the same price as a car that has not been used? i asked the dealer and they said that they dont know for sure how it got the KM because they got it from a different dealer. They said that it could have been a "test drive car" . The other dealer is 25 KM away. They made it sound like this much KM on a new car is normal..should i ask for another one that isnt a "test drive car"? (it takes 6 to 8 weeks to order it)

How do I get out of my New Car purchase agreement?

Not usually in the United States. The KM stands for kilometers. these speedometers are are seen mostly over seas.
Also, a test drive car that is used for many people to test drive should be at a somewhat lower price. The price would depend on how many miles are on it and if there are any other blemishes on it , inside and out.

i own a shop and that is a few miles but its probably been test driven a few times,so this isn't considered to be high miles but more than usual but it should be alright,it will have the same exact warranty on it as a new one will if you can live with the fact that you didn't get to put the first few miles on it ,then it will be alright ,good luck i hope this helps.

any new car is going to have some use on it . they have to drive it out of the factory on to a truck , off the truck to the car wash, around the lot ect. the term new car only means that the car has never been purchased .

For a used car, it sure is. Just make sure that you are paying a lot less then a new car.. Because that definately isnt what you would call right outta the factory.=P

I want to sell a car, is there a website other than EBay that I can advertise it on?

I have searched for a few new cars, and in my experience that is quite normal for a new car. Usually they have to adjust the transmission and make sure the car is running smoothly before selling it. Also they drove it from the other dealer which was 25 km away. Having around 100km on a new car is fine and shouldn't affect your decision

167 Km is nothing in the long life of a modern car. Don't worry.
