Question:
I'm between the Matrix, Prius and the Fit (but I can't talk myself into paying over MSRP for a car). I have test driven all three. I do need some room to put stuff in but with the price of gas rising up I'm thinking the Prius might be a good bet. What's your experience? Thanks for the input

I have a Prius, and it's without a doubt the BEST bet. I can easily put a month's worth of shopping in the back end (with the seats down), and I went from gassing up twice a week (at $30 a pop to gassing up twice a MONTH - and my driving habits are unchanged.

Go with the Prius. You'll thank yourself later! ;)
Does anyone have a car to rent in Singapore for a month or so for around 700 Singapore dollars?
Heck of a premium price on the Prius. Definitely my preference too, but I wouldn't buy new. It is a quirky car (electric steering feels light etc) and the savings on gas don't make up for the price on a new one, but used I think it is the best buy of the three.
