Question:
About to graduate, and getting an "almost new" car. I have a list of cars that I'm trying to decide between...Civic Si (coupe or sedan), Acura RSX Type S, Nissan 350Z, Audi TT, Scion TC, and Chevy Cobalt. The 1st three are my top choices. My parents are afraid to help me buy an Acura because they fear high maintenance charges that Acura will charge, like BMW and Mercedes, but I am not sure if this is the same with Acura. I need some real help, with hard facts, and not just opinions. I'm taking into consideration: gas mileage, insurance cost, reliability, performance, and appearance. I've been to all of the review websites, but I seem to need more help.

How much does a porsche carrera GT 2007 cost?
i would recommend the Civic at this stage in your life. payments will be reasonable, insurance not too bad, and regular maintenance will not bankrupt you...keep it for a few years while you establish yourself and then trade it in for a Z when you are squared away financially!Who says you have to service the Acura at the dealership? You can have it serviced anywhere you wish. Jiffy Lube, Pepboys, Midas. for example. Prices vary with dealers but they are not as expensive as Lexus, MB or BMW.
What is a1964 chevrolet 4 doorsedan worth?
honda or acura is the best way to go..i have had two acuras over the last six years and i beat the hell out of it every day...NEVER has broke down... regular maintanence is all ive ever done to them.btw, the hourly dealer charges is what gets you every time no matter what car you have...bmw and mercedes though is just overrated and overpriced..anyways, i would go with the type s !get either the 05 or 06 cause the 2,3, and 4 is played out.you'll notice the better rims and different headlights and bumpers on the 5 or 6, ive seen very little of those years on the streets, which will make you that much better than everybody else.jklol...good luck.
well gas i would check more into honda or toyota cars same with reliablity. insurance will be more for a japanese car but you will have far less problems with one and that will definetly make up for it. i would frown on nissian though because think about it toyota and honda are always mention to be so great of a car and you never hear about nissian that much. not really a good solid japanese vehicle. far as cobalts i would say yes if you like headaches!!
Scion is a toy car, not recomended, a Civic Sedan is better, and will be esier to sell later. The Acura and Nissan are overpriced.
What is a good car for a beginning driver, with a decent price?
Your first priorities should be financing and insurance cost. The sports cars are going to be alot more in monthly payments and insurance. All the cars you listed, except the Chevy will be very reliable and you should base your decision on gas mileage and ultimately your personal preferences.I own an '06 tC and love it! It was the Scion that brought me over from American muscle cars to Toyota. I was gonna go with the Si, but after a test drive, it was too small and looked cheap inside. The second I sat in the tC, I knew it was the right car. The tC intrigued me more because they are a blank canvas for customizing and also something that is not the norm, at least around here.
Should I buy a car now or wait?
If you are looking for speed, then go with the RSX or Z. Audi will definitely eat your wallet in the long run with maintenance cost. If I had the money tho, I would definitely go with the Z. Check out this website and see why Scion owners love their cars so much!:
