I am a Master Certified Sales Consultant.{which includes being product certified & recertified each year}
I am also a certified Truck Specialist
And Hybrid Certified
And an Alternative Fueled Vehicles specialist.
I have 2 years as a Lease Manager at a Chevrolet/Vw dealer, 1 year in Finance & Insurance at a Ford dealer, & 22 years at Ford (selling both New & pre-owned)
I have thousands of customers.
I have absolutely NEVER EVER done anything dishonest, illegal, or sneaky TO ANY OF MY CUSTOMERS .

Perhaps that is why I have been so successful & have clients that keep coming back & buying from me over & over again & referring their friends & family members to me.
I resent the previous answers due to the fact that they perpetuate the myth that all car salesmen are dishonest. & That is just not true. I'm sure that there are some but those are few & far between & they give us an undeserved bad reputation.
Dishonest & sneaky salespeople don't last in the business .
I don't have secrets or tricks.
I take an active aproach in learning what each individual customer needs. & I know my product inside & out.
I learn about my competitors products.
I research & learn constantly.
What is the best way to go about buying a car?
It helps that I absolutely love the product that I sell.
& I love coming to work every day.
I love the dealership that I work for & the people that own the dealership incidentally are my managers. I work for a family owned (25 years) & run dealership with an impecable reputation

Lying. Smiling at someone and telling them a FAT LIE in order to make more money.If you got the job, they must think you are a real good liar who will cheat people and be thoroughly pleased with yourself afterward.

It doesn't matter which brand you work for, all car sales people make money the same way, selling cars and trucks.
Although people want Ford Trucks, not Toyota trucks.
