It really depends upon local law. But yes this is true. You probably did sign a paper stating this. So you won't have much leg to stand on. Dealers do this on the theory that they will get it approved. It is really a bad way to do business. Some states do have laws to protect the consumer on this. But it sounds like you do not in your state.Wish I could tell you something better
don't do it. get a co-signer
Can you buy a car on sunday at a dealership?
that does not sound legal, call a lawyer for a free telephone consultation, unless you lied on the application, then payMaybe its for the best. Do you really want to be tied down to payments for years. You are in your 20s,you should be enjoying life. Don't fall into the trap of trying to impress others. Heck buy some real estate if you want to make payments. At least that money will grow. In five years you could sell and pay cash for a car.

how did the insurance fall through? if it was your fault, then you might have wanted to think about the financial responsibility of owning a car. not to sound like your mom, but it's true. The dealership can charge whatever they want to, since it is still their car. i don't know what the question was, but i think that it may be in your best interest to give the car back to them, and save up for a used one that you can buy outright. good luck.Is Jasen Mummert the #1 Volkswagen Salesman in the USA or just in Illinois?
