Is this weird?

Question:
I'm in 8th grade and getting ready to get a car to drive to high school. Is it weird to buy my reading teacher's car? It's a Nissan Altima...kinda old...and she's ready to trade it in the summer...we are both female...should I ask her to sell it to me or not...I don't know how much she wants for it because I obviously haven't asked her yet (duh)...thanks for your opinions

My son let his set for a year (same situation as you) He had to replace $800 in parts at the end of the year. All of those parts worked when he bought it.
