I am in the process of shopping for a car, I really want a Chrysler Sebring lx Coupe 2004 but, the advice I was told is not to get stuck on one particular car. I like the solara (toyota). what is a cute coupe that has great gas milage. low maintaince, under $10,000, that would benefit me for 3-4 yrs.

Chrysler is know for transmission trouble, so you may want to think about that. Otherwise I'd say whatever you like as not all Chrysler transmission go out. I've had the go out at 30,000 miles, have put over 100,000 miles on them without any problems.

You might consider the Scion tC. I think its a cute car for a chick. Its a little over $10,000 you could problably find one thats around $13,000 or maybe even $12,000 with about 20,000 to 40,000 thousand miles. I hear the gas milage is good between 30 - 40mpg. and it would problably last you more than 4 years maybe 6 or 7. You might want to check them out on autotrader.com .

Buying advice?

Since YOUR the one buying it and YOUR the one that will be driving it get what you want which is the Chrysler. If I had listened to that advise I never would have bought the car I've wanted since I was 18. Good Luck!
