Question:
My fiance was 2 months beyond on her car payments due to the fact she was pregnant and we were in an economic hardship. We got out of the hospital Sunday and I was going to pay her back payments on Monday but the car was repo'ed Sunday night. We tried callin the bank for over a week with no response. Now the holding fees are over $475. Is there anyway we can get help because the bank did not cooperate with us and the fact she was in the hospital and on maternity leave?? Please HELP!
What kind of cars does special financing approve?
we're not asking anyone to pay for us...but its not our fault the bank was not answering our messages...they said they thought someone spoke to us..when they clearly didn't...so now we have to pay extra holding fees because they're stupidity...
Answers:
Is there a car that when you see it you ask, Why would anyone buy that?
Let's be straight here: you are calling the bank stupid? They were not late on their payments to you were they? Your fiance signed an agreement to pay a certain amount by a certain date, that's the bottom line. There is supplemental insurance for this kind of thing, like aflac or the like.I can appreciate your situation, as i am in sales, and at times have fallen behind, but never have i blamed the bank for my financial troubles.
Are there places that you can go for a car loan on a used private party car?
If you want the car back, you'll have to pay those fees, they were imposed because you were late, not because the bank didn't call you back.
Is it better to make a large purchase like $10,000 and pay cash/or should i finance instead?
Unfortunately, due to the circumstances, you will not have much of an option. If you have health insurance, some coverages pay for short term dis. type stuff (may be with your auto) but thats about all I could think of.More Questions & Answers ...
