Question:
The front driverside tire fell off. Ball joints and tie rod ends were replaced. Would suing the dealer who refused to pay for repairs be fair? Suspension was checked as being legal on the window sticker.this is a used 1996 car.
Answers:
If you look closely at the window sticker, you see something like a 30 day warranty. In that warranty, you'll probably find language saying that all running parts are under warranty but the seller is limited to paying only 10% of the replacement cost and the buyer 100 % of the labor providing the work is done at his garage.
You're stuck either way.
I bet it is a blazer. Am I right? Yes the ball joints should be replaced becasue they are junk. Should the dealer pay, only if they gave you a written warning, which I am sure they did not do becasue u bought the car off some ghetto Mexican lot. You should have a mechanic check any vehicle u buy, its your own fault for being taken advantage of, nobody elses.
Where is the best place to buy a 2003 cadillac?
Tough call..the sticker likely said "as is". Obviously you didn't get an extended warranty..if it was even available. Best to ask a lawyer about dealer liabiltiy. Can the Saturn dealer install a DVD/CD player on a new Saturn Outlook that is currently on the lot?
