Can they repo your car from your own garage , any time?
You have to register it (and pay the taxes on it) for the state in which you reside. Plus, emissions requirements are more strict in California.you have to be a resident of oregon state to get the no tax deal on a vehicle
does the car from oregon meet all of california standards thats what might be an issue
I own a Mack truck sleeper? Is renting it out a good idea? What do I need to do?
You need to get approval from the finance corp. to keep the car in another state. A lot of places don't like to do that because it makes it harder to collect if you default on the loan. If the loan company is in Ca., they may have to collect the tax. Also, you have to transfer the title to Ca., and that involves a lot of fees.If you aren't financing the car, it should be a lot easier to do.
good luck. hope this helped. :)
