What to look for under the hood when buying a used car!??
Your best bet is to use this website www.autotrader.comYou can put in your zip code and price range even make and model of cars and it will show you a listing of cars in your area
How much is a clio williams2 worth?
I suggest because you are on a low budget to try to find a ford taurus or mercury sable with some miles on it. There are so many of these cars everywhere and even in Alaska.
These are durable cars and you can pick one up for cheap. It will last over 120,000 miles and be trouble free
They are also front wheel drive which is the best in snow next to four wheel drive
Can you trade in two cars for one?
This can get you a car that will last a year or two without major problems. But bring somebody along or take it to a mechanic to look it over ,you will be surprised what he finds in no time at all.You can find private seller on Carsoup.com. If you also have a mechanic you trust ask the owner if you can take it there to have it checked out. Have him check it out completely. If you have a friend who knows something about cars have them check it out. Also ask the prior owner if they have any repair history on the car. If they do not have any repair history then they probably have a problem with it that is making the sell the car. I keep a repair history on all my cars regardless of the repair (Even flat repairs) As far as the snow I do not know what they use on the roads up there (If anything It gets COLD up there) check and make sure there is no Major rust in any of the fender wells and under the car. Buying a car from a private seller is always a Buyer beware issue. So test drives the car. Listen for any odd sounds and have it checked out by your trusted shop. Hope this helps.
I have a list good websites offering cheap used cars. They are all reputed delers and also arrange some auction for used cars.
You can comapire rates between them cause its a big list.
In this way you save money also.
