Which 4x4?

Question:
I am 16 now and want to buy a 4x4. I will be taking it off road and want it to hold up well. i don't need anything fancy like a sunroof or leather seats, just a good rugged off-road vehicle. i have a budget of about $3500 and i don't have very much money for repairs. What will be the best for me. I am considering jeeps, suzuki samuri's, isuzu troopers, and some pickups. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I must say I bought a Jeep Wrangler about six years ago , I paid 3500.00 for it and it now has 330.000 miles on it ( REALLY). I took it off road on really great trails and as well as ride it to work. I love it and I am looking for another one to buy.

I need advice about parting out a truck?

Jeeps are overpriced so you don't get much for the money. Be careful with imports like Isuzu sometimes even normal repairs can become real expensive. I had a 91 rodeo and just the exhaust pipe cost over $400 and had to be special ordered. Check out some older trucks like 4WD S10's and Rangers (Blazers or Bronco 2's) They do well off road and ride nice on road. Parts are easy to find and cheap and everyone knows how to work on them.
