I need help with my choice. Has anyone had a good reliable vehicle? I currently drive a P.T Cruiser. I like the P.T but need more room and something either all wheel drive or 4x4 to get me through the snow in Winter and I'm tired of buying lemons. Don't suggest an Alero either my friend drives that lemon!

I've had good luck with my wifes '04 Ford Focus ZX5 (four door hatchback), though it might be a bit small for your needs. We drove through the cimmaron range in new mexico in the middle of winter, and while we cruised along wth front wheel drive - we saw at least half a dozen 4wd trucks and SUV's stuck in the ditch. A guy in a blazer behind me had the funniest look on his face while he slid one way, then spun out and slid the other way.
You might want to look at suburu - they've got some decently sized cars, stationwagon-esque, but a lot better looking than granpas old wood panel siding model + they come with all wheel drive, and are basically rally cars.
the new rondezvous and trailblazers are both great awd's with lots of room.
