Is it advisable to buy a car on ebay?
EBay MotorsSell it on ebay or put a classified ad in your local newspaper. You now know how auto dealers will try to rip you off by offering a price way below the wholesale value. Just remember one thing; Hell is full of new and used car salesmen, and dealers.
What car to get? low maintenance car?
Do you REALLY NEED to sell it fast? You could end up getting more money for it if you were to continue driving it and advertising it in the paper or some other means.Need Vehicle History Report! Help!?
A dealership is not going to give you anything near what the car is worth, that is how they make their money, give you a low price for it and turn around and sell it for at least 3 times what they paid you.
Well post it for sale in lots of places. Online like craigslist and any other free listing service you know in your area.
Then make up some flyers with the photo and information and put it around gas stations, supermarkets, etc. if they have a place to put them. If you have a regular mechanic take him a flyer to put up where customers might see it. They also might know someone who is interested.
Your opinion- RAV 4 or Element?
Then you can take a ad out in the easyad, photo ad, pennypincher whatever you have near you. We just ran one in our local weekly ads and it was 12 for 2 weeks, no photo. It's quite a bit more for a photo, but maybe worth it.
Of course there is the newspaper but I have never gotten good results, you may.
In buying 2006 used car; should i consider buying extended warranty?
Then I would just park it somewhere popular. We have a certain area of town that everyone parks cars for sale, if you park a car there you can probably sell it in a few days, if not hours. People are always over there looking at the cars and the cars never last long. I don't know if you have an area like that around you, if not try to park it somewhere a lot of traffic goes though.
Anyone looking to make a great buy on a new Nissan or Hyundai?
Make sure you put down all the information about the vehicle anything you can think of, selling price and your phone numbers of course, and what times they should call, or call anytime. That information is important because sometimes people put off calling you or call once and don't get ahold of you and figure it is already sold or something.
If u were to get revenge on someone for all the terrible things they have done?
You could also try shopping around different dealerships for trade in price, they are all different. You could easily get thousands more at another dealership. Just make sure you go in there with information about your car, and how much it is worth KBB although I have heard they usually use NADA pricing. You will almost always get less on a trade in than selling it yourself, but again nothing is faster or easier to do than trading.
How can I get rid of my car without harming my credit??
What year is it?And are you allowed to sell your Dads car?
Hey, i think i will go sell my Dads car. Im sure he wont mind.
First, you never go to a car dealer to sell your car, or trade in. You are far better off, selling privately, as you saw, they are only going to give you less than half, so when they put their sticker price on, they will make a profit. I would think putting the Deville in the paper would strike some interest. Selling online is foolish, and buying online is worse than foolish. You can't drive, look over and check for damage or other serious malfunctions, you can't smell it to know if it has mold spores from being in a flood, you can't touch the automobile to check for repairs, or bondo, shift gears, listen for noises that shouldn't be there, and many other things you should be looking at when spending thousands of dollars. Maybe some of your dad's friends might be interested in the Deville, ask around. Good luck.
