Car question...?

Question:
I am 16 years old and i will be getting my license in less than a month. I really want a car but i'm not one of those guys that needs a really nice car to show off because i could care less about that. Really, all i want is a car that can get me places and isn't VERY old but it doesn't have to be new. I was just wondering what you guys would suggest because my price range is probably 3000-6000 so my parents aren't willing to pay that much. Thanks for the help.

Have you ever sold a car that you regreted selling?

Find a Honda Civic or Accord in your price range. Age and mileage will primarily determine the price. Have it inspected before you buy. Go for an older car with lower mileage and good condition rather than a newer car with high miles and poor condition. Good luck.

Whats a B-Car?

Accord is going to be too rich for your blood, and any 3000-6000 Accord is going to be "ancient". Civic has too much reputation of being a "rice burner" (i.e. tricked out cars) that you can't afford the insurance.

when selling a privately owned vehicle , who pays the transfer fees , the seller or buyer?

I am actually going to recommend... Toyota Corolla. It's so vanilla nobody will bat an eye but it's reliable transportation. Nissan Sentra would do as well. Late model Ford Escort would be in your price range too. They're no longer made, but they're decent transportation, and cheaper than the newer model Ford Focus.

Where can I get a 70s Chevy or Dodge in Europe?

Depending on where you live would vary my answer some, assuming you live in the states, I would recommend an American made car for the simple fact that if you buy a use foreign auto and run into problems as needing allot of parts they can get Very expensive, Very quickly...BTDT :( Some I would suggest would be Cavalier, Focus, even S10 trucks or Rangers most any American made auto will be cheaper on parts if needed and if you are handy with auto work many repairs are not beyond the "backyard" mechanic, where some foreign cars require more talent. But hey, ultimately it is your choice, I can only hope to help you make that choice....Good Luck & Safe motoring :)

Im buying a car.. its my first time buy... I need Help!!?

You can get a 2001 Nissan Altima for $6k. I had a '99 and it was very reliable and got 30mpg. It's not as fashionable as a Honda or Toyota but you definately get more for your money. It also has a timing chain instead of a belt so you save $600 every 90k miles.
