A word of advice: When you tell someone that it needs work, they often bolt. I suggest fixing it and working it into the sale price. When you know there's something wrong with it right off the bat it kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I would say it depends on how badly you need the money, and how much time you're willing to wait. You can get your message out there for free on craigslist and Msn Expo, price it lower for quick sale, higher if you want the money
Lots of people buy cars based on KBB value and such, but I can't see any reason for someone buying a 130k mile car for 5 grand. features don't mean anything to someone looking at a 130k mile car.
