Anyone know the top speed of the 2006 or 2007 commodore SS 6.0 litre? Or estimate??
How do you know the guy you bought it from had the right to sell it without the title?? Deed of sale means nothing if he wasn't the owner! You know now to get the title when you buy a car!I'm thinking about buying a van or SUV?
Call your registry of motor vehicles. I know in MA you have to have a title to transfer ownership of a vehicle...even if you are donating it to charity! In MA, if you lose it, the Registry can create a new copy for you for a fee. I'm willing to bet that the Canadian Registry of Motor Vehicles probably will too. The fee wasn't too outrageous for me...it was $25 (I think).
Names of good car review sites?

Ok i am looking for a 1968 ss camero any one got one and no not a toy but the real deal?
call the DMV and ask them what you should do
Best thing to do would probably be to contact your local insurance provider and see if the deed of sale is sufficient to get a title on the vehicle.
Here is a survey that I am Taking?
Did you do a lien search or owner's search before you paid for the car? If you did, and it came back clean, the insurance company should be able to change it over. As long as the previous owner matches the owner in the insurance company's file, they will probably be able to change it over for you with just the deed.
I'm not sure if it's illegal to sell the car, but it's pretty scary to own a car with no title papers proving that it's yours.
