I bought a new '05 Mustang GT last year, and the car came with a 3-year/36,000-mile factory warranty. Now I'm at 35,000 miles, and I'm thinking that I may keep the car awhile longer. But I'm leery of the idea of owning an out-of-warranty car. I've gotten plenty of pffers from Ford (and other companies) in the mail offering extended warranties. I've also heard these things are sometimes not worth the paper they're printed on.
I need to buy a new car next year?

I recommend the Ford extended warranty. I did the same thing but bought one of those "other" extended warranty plans and they actually wouldn't pay for crap. LOL just my opinion but i think the factory gives the better warranty.What is a good first car that is cheap and not cheaply made?
Part of the decision depends on whether you've had any trouble yet. But just one a/c or tranny problem could pay for the warranty. If you do buy one, only buy it from the manufacturer and it's accepted at a lot more places. Off brand warranties deny a lot of claims. Most also have deductibles so make sure you know how much it is. If you buy one and then sell the car you can get a pro-rated refund.What car is best suited for a 16 yr male?
Extended warranty delima. I am a Ford salesman and the extended warranty is offered as a piece of mind on used and new vehicles. I bought new car and extended warranty, i dont want any issues over car problems.On pre owned vehicles its a good idea in case something happens, you are not in the cold about repairs. Read carefully and ask questions on protection-buyer be ware.
