Too powerful for a naked system?

Question:
Ok I have just run into a huge problem. The setup I have now, I think, drained my battery in my '91 Lexus LS400. I was skeptical about it in the first place but my friend told me to just go on and do it. I hooked up 2 15" Audiobahn AWIS15N's to a Lanzar 2000 watt 4-channel amp. The subs draw only 650 rms each but I bridged them together and hooked them up to one channel on the amp. I used 4 gauge wiring, RCA's and turn on wire hooked up too. I go to start my car and it doesn't turn over at all. Was this amp or system just too much for my battery to handle without a cap or an Optima battery? Should I just throw my battery on a charger or is it totally killed? I'm in desperation right now. Where was the mistake?

2. Upgrade to a heavy duty deep cycle battery

Failure to do this will result in you replacing them anyway as the alternator will eventually fail.

well if you ran the system with the car off, that would certainly be the problem. If it drained the battery while running, you should look into a better alternator.

Charge the battery to full capacity and turn down the gains on the amplifier. If it continues, you might have a faulty alternator.

I have 2 Kicker comp 10"s(Single Voice Coil, 4 Ohm, 150RMS each) and a Kicker 06ZX300.1 Mono Amp(300RMS@2Ohms)

ok, if you were running this system with out the car turned on, 1) thats your problem, and 2) your a retard. now if your system was on as well as your car started then you are drawing too much from your alternator. upgrade to a bigger alt. but yea, always start your car to listen to the radio if you have any form of amp hooked up. :P

Audiobahn sucks, but anyway i would just get a adittional battery just to run the system.

You CANNOT bridge a 4ch. amp to one channel. Subs DO NOT 'draw' a certain amount of power. This is where the problem lies...

I just ordered a 1800 watt system for my car, MY question is will me windows be able to handle that much?

Have someone with a little more experience check this out for you. What you are saying does not make sense.
